Regent
by Echo Fox

A Wave Singers Novella (Equilibria Book 0)

A novella prequel to Wave Singers, focusing on Merrick and how he came to be the Regent of Thera.

Merrick is a young prince of Thalassis, the ruling city of the Mer realm of Thera. The victim of a matriarchal society, Merrick is constantly sidelined in favour of his two older sisters and generally ignored by his mother, the Queen.

When his sister Chrysodeia discovers a portal to another world, everything in Merrick's life changes. His character is shaped by the events that follow and the psychological implications of his family's actions.

Abandoned by everyone and with a tantalising new power growing in the North, Merrick feels he has no choice but to act for the greater good in order to save those he loves.

Kiss A Cowboy
by
Deanna Lynn Sletten

DescriptionAndi Stevens drives away from her home town of Seattle and says goodbye to her sister to begin a new life with her fiancé in Buffalo, New York. When her car breaks down in the mountains of Montana, she reluctantly knocks on the door of a cabin for help. What she finds is Luke Brennan, the most handsome man she's ever met, who appears annoyed by her bothering him and is also downright rude. He takes her up to the main ranch house where his mother welcomes her warmly, opening their home to her for as long as she needs to stay. Andi quickly falls in love with the ranch and its occupants, and the beauty of Montana. And no matter how hard they fight it, she and the brooding cowboy form a bond that becomes stronger by the day. Andi soon finds herself struggling with her promise to marry one man and the attraction she feels for another.

The Garden Patch
by
Charles E. Wells

DescriptionA murder suspect turns up in West Creek County running from the law and needing help to prove his innocence. He finds it after tripping red flags in the mind of Timber Mill owner, Matt Veal, who turns the tides of the dilemma and sets justice on its proper path. This action packed story is fast paced, loaded with suspense, and leaves the reader feeling as exhausted as the characters when it’s over. The garden patch is quality plus one for the even the most easily bored readers. It’s book two of the Whispering Pines Serial, and you don’t want to miss it.

As his marriage begins to crumble around him, he becomes reacquainted with his childhood sweetheart, Anna, whom he left for Patsy twenty-five years before. Multiples of Six
by
Andy Rane

Beneath African Skies
by
Gillie Bowen

DescriptionBeneath African Skies is based on the true story of the siblings' young lives in 20th century Africa: hyena, crocodile and cobra attacks, gold rush mania, crater plunges, near-fatal accidents, typhoid fever and murder are just some of the ordeals they must face. It is the story of coping with death and the horrors of the Second World War: both as an RAF fighter pilot and as a pregnant and lonely bride in war-time Britain. Above all, it is the story of their survival and their love for each other.

Dating in the Dark
by
Tracey Rogers

DescriptionHiding out in his sister's bakery to recover from a recent injury isn't an ideal solution for newly unemployed meteorologist Damian Trent. Especially since he doesn't like cake. But hiding anywhere is preferable to facing the media frenzy revolving around his life. He has no intention of being seen by anyone. That is, until he hears a honey-toned voice over the phone.

Remembering Death
by
James Paddock

DescriptionLester Winters, in early stages of Alzheimer's, submits to an experimental procedure (a pacemaker for his brain) to restore his memory. He first recalls a dead woman who, it is assumed by his wife, is his mother from years past. As weeks go by and Lester's 'pacemaker' does its job, he recalls that it is Caroline who is dead, not his mother. His wife decides that it'd be prudent to hire an attorney to help find the answers. The attorney hires Parker DuPont, who soon discovers that there is a lot more to Lester's memory than just a dead woman by the name of Caroline. He remembers where she is buried. He also remembers the face of the killer and is scared into silence that the killer remembers him.
