The Golgotha Connection
by Caleb Pirtle III

Mexico has a lot of unmarked graves, where both the questions and answers are buried.

During the 1990s when the drug mules were becoming recognized as a threat, and newspapers were still the medium of choice, a disturbing telegram comes into the publisher. It's to Andrews St. Aubin, from his brother, a DEA agent. He claims something unbelievable, undeniable proof revolving around Christ and proof of it has been found in Mexico. But has the agent found a relic? An artifact? No one knows. If true, the fact could change the face of Christianity. But just before Andrews St. Aubin has a chance to speak with him, the DEA agent mysteriously turns up dead. There is something much bigger about this life-threatening message his brother had left him, and now his life is on the line.

As Andrews St. Aubin searches for answers, and the underbelly of the drug-infested Mexico, he uncovers a secret that could forever change the scope and teachings of Christianity. He crosses paths with rogue CIA agents that are planning a secret military operation to eliminate the drug lords who are using human pipelines to bring drugs across the border.

Learning more about what his brother might have been involved in, Andrews St. Aubin slowly figures out one clue at a time to learn that this legend in Mexico, known as Quetzalcoatl, could possibly be true.

When the CIA realizes their plans could be stopped, all with one blow to the newspapers, they realize it would be much easier to get rid of him too.
